Established in 1963, Kalmbach Feeds is a family-owned and operated business in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. From its origins as a small grind and mix mill to its current position as regional leader in the animal nutrition industry, Kalmbach Feeds sources premium ingredients and upholds unmatched quality standards at world-class manufacturing facilities. They hold stewardship in high regard, striving to minimize their environmental impact by following their three Cs of stewardship: Is it good for the consumer? Is it good for the community? Is it good for our company? They have embraced renewable energy from solar panels, including this newest 1.4 MW Installation. According to Kalmbach Feeds: “Renewable energy is essential to our future. Harnessing the sun’s energy reduces energy costs, cuts emissions, and puts less pressure on the power grid.” Kalmbach Feeds’ solar installation has been so successful, they are working with Melink Solar on a second installation at their Upper Sandusky location.
