ila Hyde Park

Melink Solar installed a rooftop solar photovoltaic system at Ila Hyde Park, a new luxury apartment community developed by PLK Communities in Cincinnati. The 51-unit sustainable residential project, located along the Wasson Way hike and bike trail, integrates green energy to reduce utility costs for residents while preventing over 1 million pounds of CO2 emissions annually. Designed for a high-end, hotel-like living experience, Ila features spacious floor plans, upscale finishes, and premium amenities, including a heated saltwater pool, fitness center, and dedicated work-from-home spaces. The project was financed through $18.6 million in air quality revenue bonds, making it the first whole-building project approved as an air quality facility by the Ohio Air Quality Development Authority’s Clean Air Improvement Program.
