First Financial Center

Cincinnati’s convention center (formerly known as Duke Energy Convention Center) recently underwent a $264 million renovation and reopened in early 2026. Part of the center’s renovation and comprehensive sustainability design plan included 772 new rooftop solar panels, estimated to generate 433,415 kWhs of solar PV energy in year one, reducing reliance on the electrical grid. Over 30 years, the system will offset 7,220 tons of carbon dioxide.
