Felician Sisters – Buffalo
Melink Solar partnered with the Felician Sisters of North America to install 774 solar panels on their Buffalo, New York, property as part of a nationwide solar initiative. The panels, placed on Villa Maria College’s Felician Hall, the athletic center, and the central convent, generated over 209 megawatts of clean energy while reducing carbon emissions by more than 125 tons. This installation was one of six solar projects at Felician Sisters’ sites across the country, collectively producing an estimated 2.1 million kilowatt-hours in their first year. The initiative, driven by the Sisters’ commitment to environmental stewardship, underscored their dedication to reducing reliance on fossil fuels and promoting sustainable energy solutions.
