City of Loveland
Melink Solar partnered with the City of Loveland to install the city’s first solar energy system on the new Public Works Office/Garage Building. The project included 40 solar panels, generating 16,000 watts of power, with an expected lifespan of over 30 years. Designed to supply approximately 85% of the building’s annual electricity needs, the system helped reduce greenhouse gas emissions while lowering energy costs. Melink Solar was selected for the project through a competitive bid process, offering the most cost-effective solution. This initiative marked Loveland’s first step toward integrating solar energy into public facilities.
