A newly completed 1.04 MW rooftop solar array in Ravenna, Ohio, developed in 2024 with Melink Solar as the EPC in partnership with Viridi, is helping to power a fully occupied commercial facility while highlighting the growing demand for green energy in the state. The installation offsets a significant portion of the building’s energy consumption and enables the owner to sell excess power back to the grid—ultimately reducing the property’s carbon footprint. By integrating solar, the facility’s tenants enjoy stable electric bills and contribute to Ohio’s expanding renewable energy landscape. This project underscores the state’s relatively favorable cost of electricity and strong appetite for sustainability, reflecting a broader nationwide shift toward cleaner, more efficient power solutions.
